The Norwegian health portal Tigeni has launched a covid-19 antibody test that reveals with great certainty if you have had the virus. The test is easily performed at home in your own living room, when it suits you best. A small sting in the finger is all that is needed, and Tigeni guides you through sampling. You register the blood sample via Tigeni's website with BankID and then return the sample to their laboratory in the return envelope.

The CE-validated test is performed in a certified laboratory in the Netherlands, and after a few working days you will receive a text message with the result. If the antibody Covid-19 test is positive, one of Tigeni's doctors will evaluate the analysis and contact you.

We emphasise that even in the event of a positive test result, you must continue to follow the authorities' guidelines for infection control.

NOTE: Antibody tests with blood samples are not the same as virus tests (PCR tests), which are performed with a swab in the nose and throat.

What are antibodies and who can take the antibody test?
